Behind the Scenes of “Behind the Screen”
As some of you may know, I am also a film Writer and Director. In this video, I describe my filmmaking process with a behind the scenes look into the making of my short film, Behind the Screen.
Behind the Screen is a modern silent short film where the only dialogue is via text messages.
Logline: Feeling unvalued in a digital age where there are endless options, a millennial Girl aches for more than being a powerless worker bee and just another fling.

📣 During prep we crowdfunded on Seed & Spark and were promoting the film as much as possible. Michelle was a guest on the Atlanta Film Chat Podcast (listen to the episode) and pitched at Rolecall's Film Pitch ATL.
We're happy to say the script was a finalist in the Get Connected and Final Touch Production Grant.
💵 We had a successful crowdfunding campaign on Seed & Spark where we raised 118% of our goal.
Some local perks for the campaign were provided by Greg Leddy (Photographer) and a consultation at Drama, Inc
