My Backstory
Michelle Caruso is an independent film Writer, Director, Producer and works professionally in the Art Department on various studio productions. With a decade of experience working on studio productions, Michelle has been instrumental on projects such as Stranger Things, Baby Driver, and Robert Zemeckis’s Flight.
As an inventive & imaginative child, Michelle would often take over a room with an ambitious craft or create worlds with various fort builds out of natural elements or furniture fortifications.
As a violinist for years, a hobbyist photographer, painter, and sketch artist, the merging of artistic expressions is what attracted Michelle to filmmaking. As a storyteller, she strives to have themes and characters that audiences can empathize with, learn from, and will resonate with their life experience.
